OUTREACH

The Oklahoma Alliance for Geographical Education (OKAGE) - Part of the national and international National Geographic Society alliance program to promote geography education.  They teach teachers to teach geography!

The Oklahoma NASA Space Grant Consortium (OSGC) - The OSGC promotes activities in science, mathematics, technology, and other aerospace related studies throughout the state's educational system.

The Environmental Verification and Analysis Center (EVAC) - EVAC brings together scientists who work as a team to develop, apply, and teach geostatistical methods used to verify model and remote sensing data.  They study climatological and meteorological events and provide a course on the applications of geostatistics to environmental problems.

The Geo Information Systems is an applied research unit of the Sarkeys Energy Center at the University of Oklahoma. For many years, the department has worked with users from both the public and the private sectors, striving to bring them effective information and technology tools that will simplify their business practices and decisions.
