GIS LAB FACILITIES

Environmental Computing Applications System (ECAS) - Started in 1995, the ECAS is a high-performance computing facility designed to meet the unique and demanding computational needs of environmental science research.

Environmental Modeling and GIS Lab (EMGIS) - This laboratory was started in 1990 under the direction of Dr. Baxter E. Vieux for simulation of distributed processes involved in environmental and hydrologic process.

Geography GIS Lab (GISL) - This laboratory is run by Dr. May Yuan for the instruction of students in the intricacies of Geogrpahic Information Systems.

Geography Remote Sensing Lab (GRSL) - This laboratory is directed by Dr. Soe Win Myint and has some of the latest tools for remote sensing and image processing.

Oklahoma Biological Survey Lab Facilities - The Survey's facilities allow them to do a variety of GIS applications and to analyze recorded sounds.

College of Architecture Lab Facilities - The College of Architecture maintains 4 laboratories for the use of students, faculty, and staff in the Divisions of Architecture, Construction Science, Landscape Architecture, Regional and City Planning, and Interior Design in the College.
